Online Auctions Is What We Do:
RepoMax is an online auction house that specializes in business liquidations, estate sales, certified repossessions and personal consignments. We have at least two auctions each month with everything from furniture, tools, heavy machinery, cars, trucks, computers, electronics, antiques, toys and other items. All bidding is done online (like eBay) and then winning bidders pickup and pay for their items at our *Warren Michigan Location. Pickup locations can vary please check all auction home page for current information.
The Auction Process:
Whether we have acquired our items from a business liquidation, estate sale, bank repossession, personal consignment or other avenue– they all go through the ‘Auction Process’:
Step 1. Consignment Agreement
Each individual or business that sends an item through the auction must complete our Consignment Agreement. This document is used to provide general item descriptions, our fee schedule, terms and conditions and contact information for each consignor.
This agreement must be completed when you drop off your items and serves as your initial receipt.
Step 2. Lotting
Using your Consignment Agreement our staff begins the lotting process. They must:
1.) Identify individual lots for each consignor
2.) Photograph each lot
3.) Identify deficiencies and selling points
4.) Write a description and detail its working condition
5.) Assign a Lot Number and Warehouse Location
6.) Stage each item in its warehouse location
Step 3. Advertising
We take pride in our ability to find the right buyer for your items. Whether its cold-calling specialized industries, placing ads in national publications or blasting your item out through our multiple online channels, we will give your item the most exposure of any auction house in Michigan!
Step 4. Inspection Times
We encourage all our bidders to inspect items before they bid on them. This ensures that they know exactly what they’re getting and protects both the seller and the auction house. We try to have an inspection time of at least two weeks before the auction ends.
Step 5. Auction Day
The dates we advertise for our actions reflect the closing date for each auction. Our auctions generally start ending at around 9:00 PM. The last day (and hour) is always the busiest!!
Step 6. Item Pickup
After the auction has closed each winning bidder will be sent an invoice that details the lots they’ve won. Bidders will then have the stated times to pickup and pay for their items.
Step 7. Consignment Payments
14 business days after the auction our staff will send you a printed invoice and check in the mail. Whether you’re looking to buy or sell– RepoMax Auctions is a fun, quick and convenient way to find quality items without the hassle or risks of other online outlets.
